#asktheexpert My baby is 2 months old, he keeps stretching his body every 2-5 mins and doesn't sleep coz of this. we need to swaddle everytime to make him sleep. Is this common and how do we overcome it.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. j
other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
