#asktheexpert my baby is 2 months 18 days old and he is having white spot on his back . is this normal or because of any lack of vitamin .

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 2 months old now white patches on skin are commonly due to fungal infection for which you need to apply antifungal ointment like tenovate M ointment twice a day for 5 days

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom White spot on skin is fungal infection or nutrient deficiency in baby. For this u need to consult with your doctor for the same as he will prescribe medicine after the proper evaluation of the baby skin. Take care
