#AskTheExpert My baby have been suffering from fever since yesterday morning, we went to doc and take the medicine, now the temperature is coming down but she pooping watery and sometimes hard continuously even in sleep also. is it fever caused by dehydration or any viral??

A. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can givre paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.
