#asktheexpert My baby has fever 99.4 .She'll turn 8 months in a week. She weighs 8.5kg. We have paracetamol. Plz tell me how much ml of paracetamol has to be given?

A. avoid self medication baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing. Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies. Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hours .
