#AskTheExpert My baby has cough & nose blockage problem from almost one week. We gave her azithral syrup & nasal spray as recommended by doctor & there was some improvement. in cold but cough is there. what to do in this case.

A. Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus Try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children For fever and pain give paracetamol Continue the regular diet which is being given to the child very important to take a follow up with your doctor if the child is not improving
