Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. give steam so. cold is due to mostly viral infection and can be with cough . Signs can be from running nose , sneezing, throat pain , change in voice .
At home can try for indirect steam inhalation with steam around baby .
Cough dry or wet then can be given cough syrup as per need
Dry cough usually gets better in days .
Check for fever or breathing difficult y. If fever above 99 then immediately see a doctor.

Use saline nasal drops regularly
Consult with your doctor in person for proper physical examination and treatment
Give adequate feeding
Give indirect steam inhalation
No need to worry
It will correct
