#asktheexpert My baby has 101 fever 2 days back. Doctor gave antibiotic with paractemol. Is it fine to use antibiotic at 8 months of age.

A. all medicines have got side effects but you have to balance the side effects with the advantages and the antibiotic given to you is mainly broad spectrum antibiotic.

A. definitely if the doctor has seen infection in the body of the child then antibiotic has to be given otherwise it will not improve properly so kindly do not worry and give medicine as prescribed
