Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby had cough and sneezing.. yesterday i consult doctor and hr said baby has acute pharangitis and ask me to feed warm water and steam inhalation.. start antibiotics if had temperature greater than 98degree. now she has slight temperature.. is pharangitis a serious issue? is there antibiotic needed to solve this?

A. it can be viral or bacterial so the doctor will prescribe antibiotics if it is needed and yes it is a very simple infection in children and gets cured easily so do not worry
