#AskTheExpert my baby doesn't sleep at all and cries he sleeps only for 5 hours per day is that fine?

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Babies day and night pattern is opposite as compared to us.
Usually they wakes at night and sleep comfortably during day.
This physiological clock will be settle by 3 to 4 month of age.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Generally, newborns sleep a total of about 8 to 9 hours in the daytime and a total of about 8 hours at night. But because they have a small stomach, they must wake every few hours to eat. Most babies don't start sleeping through the night (6 to 8 hours) until at least 3 months of age. But this can vary a lot.
