#asktheexpert my baby daughter, she keeps holding her poop, making it hard for her to relieve it, it happens every day, despite giving har ample fluid to drink and sometimes have to use laxative, then too she keeps holding it. I am worried.

A. Mam,we try to train her on a makeshift potty trainer, but she refuses to sit, jus keeps crying when asked to sit, when pressure builds, she just push it back in, can't give her laxative daily too...

A. Are you trying to toilet train your child because a lot of kids when they do not want to sit on the commode they are scared and they start controlling their motion either that time or when they’re lazy to poop they do the same thing so I think it would be good for you to use a stool softener if required and also tell your child that it’s not good to hold it you are going to suffer with severe pain
