#asktheexpert My baby breathe from stomach to chest and sometimes makes sound from nose during this process. She also gets up sometimes while doing this. I keep my hand on her chest which makes her comfortable. Pls advise the reason and do I need to worry about it.

A. hi your baby is 7 months old now baby of this age breathe same way as you have described they breathe fast then stop breathing and again breathe sometimes baby might take a big pause leading to awakening
