#asktheexpert my baby boy will be 2 yrs old now..he has cough and runny nose every now and then tried giving him solvin ls dose no recovery tried home remedies too bt doesn't work what meds should I give

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whenever there is prolonged cold and cough not improving it can be due to either infection or allergy. also when oral medicines are not working you may have to go for nebulization and the next best option would be inhaler with the help of a spacer. it zis also important to take care of that and not give any sugary diet as well as all the food which might be causing increase in cold and cough. avoid outside eatables as well as packet foods like biscuits choczolates ice cream. try to prevent temperature variations which might trigger cold and cough again and again
