Q.

#AskTheExpert My 9 month old suddenly reduces the amount of food she intakes .. I'm not sure whether it's becoz of her first teething.. she takes only liquid foods and very little solid foods.. how to handle this?

A. Hi during teething phase kids suffer from loss of appetite and they tend to reject food intake.. this condition is due to irritation in the gums caused by the erupting teeth and it will subside after the eruption of teeth..

A. It could be of sheis teething try to give easy Chewing foods like upma, kichidi, well cooked potato mash, curd, frozen banana, pudding, cold cucumber and cold carrot. keep baby hydrated. Easy Chewing foods can help baby eat well and it woukd be comfortable for the baby too.
