Q.

#AskTheExpert my 8 months old is rubbing her eyes even while in sleep. She is doing this since a month. initially she did only when sleepy ,but now we notice she is doing it quite often . since she is rubbing even while in sleep she hasn't been able to get a sound sleep off late. is this any major issue ? should I be consulting a ped?

A. I donot see any redness though.. So should I consult a ped to know if she has infection ?? or can I do something at home to soothe her ?

A. it is normal baby is 8 months old and constantly being Aisa rubbing eyes can be due to dry eyes or irritation make sure there is no infection in the eye or any redness
