#AskTheExpert my 8 month old hit the wall while playing. he has developed a goose egg like swelling at the back of the head. should it be a cause of worry?

You can apply ice pack on it 2 -3 times a day
The blood accumulation will go & it will not cause pain. you can also apply thromboform if the swelling is too much.

On the swelling give warm compress several times a day to get relief.
If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, no signs of vomiting or uneasiness then no need to worry. Ur baby is fine
Swelling will be fine on its own. Take care
