#AskTheExpert my 6 month baby has been having dark green colored poop from time to time and this keeps on changing. The texture of dark green poop is very different and it smells very wierd too. Should I worry about this?

A. if the baby is fed with certain food substance like- green vegetables like spinach, peas, beans or broccoli in the form of purees or soups, the poop can be green. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools. If green poop with foul smelling than it indicates some bacteria infection...if so Consult your doctor.
