Q.

#AskTheExpert My 4 month old daughter (5.2kg) is having high fever and congestion. Doctor asked us to start Paracetamol and nebulization. we have started both (3 doses given so far since yesterday), however fever is not going down and is at 101-102.. Hence doctor suggested to start antibiotic (advent). is it ok to give antibiotics at 4 months? or should we wait and monitor for a day or two

A. A proper assessment is required here so regarding this it is advisable to contact some nearby doctor and so accordingly the doctor will guide in a proper way .
