#AskTheExpert my 2 year baby has cough and cold for last 10 days.he has cough in his chest so doctor recommended using nebulizer.i want to know which medicine is given in the nebulizer machine and how much quantity of medicine we have to give him

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines lgtike wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
