#AskTheExpert my 2 month old baby is not taking feeds during night time... he takes feed at 12 am and then again at 2 am. he will not sleep until 2 am. then he have uninterrupted sleep for long and then take feed @ 9 am morning..is it good?

A. hi dear Duration. During the newborn period, most breastfeeding sessions take 20 to 45 minutes. However, because newborn babies are often sleepy, this length of time may require patience and persistence. Feed on the first side until your baby stops suckling, hands are no longer fisted, and your baby appears sleepy and relaxed.
