#AskTheExpert My 18 day old baby farts a lot and most of the times she cries when it has to be released. At times she jus twist her body and releases gas. Often she herself do the cycling excercise and releases. What should be done to reduce the pain and gas. She is fed with expressed breast milk and formula fed twice a day. Please do suggest me a solution.

And farting is a clear indication of the baby being very gassy, biro well after feeding, n after every feed take him or her on shoulder for 10-15 mins. still having problem than mix hing into warm water and apply around his or her navel and stomach
