#Asktheexpert My 16month old daughter has done with urine culture test nd the results are Occasional pus cells and many gram negative bacilli seen. colony count : >100000 , organism grown : Eschercheria Coli. Doctor advised to do abdominal scan. is it serious? kindly suggest . iam worried.

A. yes it's serious it is important to follow the instructions advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor under the influence of friends and well wishers take a follow up in few days if it is ngot improving for need of treatment modification.

It’s better to get it done to be sure about it and to understand what is the reason if these things are happening over and over and that’s mostly due to some infection in the stomach only so maybe the doctor wants to be more sure which is why they must’ve advise you with a further scanWrite Your Answer Here
