#asktheexpert my 1 year old eats cement n chunam. the elderly say that it's due to calcium deficiency. is it correct n if it is so how to help my baby overcome this.

A. thats typical pica, .. an disorder having craving of non edie things.. better to consukt ur local doctor in person. taje care n all the very best.

A. Yes definitely deficiency of calcium can be one reason and the other issues PICA when a child would like to eat everything which is incredible and that is also very commonly seen issue with the kids so please check with your doctor and start with necessary treatment and supplement
