#AskTheExpert My 1 month old boy is straining throughout night for poop and when he poops in the morning, he us acting normal. I am breast feeding him and he is not having fever and any other symptoms. how to reduce straining

A. it is all right in babies . Baby may not poop on daily daily basis during this age group . No need to worry for this . Baby may pass poop in 2 to 3 days or may be not pass up to 7 days . Can use glycerine suppository for this . No any other medication needed .

A. Hello dear parent, you shouod burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. Also,Give him lost of tummy time in a day. As these tricks help in releasing gas out of the body and motions are also cleared due to this.
