A. Breastmilk is always the best milk. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months. So far no one was able to make a perfectly alternate product for breastmilk which is highly nutritious and has some incredible elements. Formula is a close to and safe choice for those who cannot breastfeed due to various reasons. Breastmilk is always the best milk but giving formula won't harm your baby. Try ur level best to breastfeed. If u couldn't then supplement as required. Formula is prescribed based on the baby's weight and growth levels. And every baby is different. Also different brands come with different composition to meet the varied needs of babies. So you should consult your pediatrician and get the right formula prescribed for your baby.
