#AskTheExpert#MamyPoko Hello Sir, My baby is not having motion since 6 days.I have also given colicad for 2 days but no use. He is only on breastfeeding.Can you please help ?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is common in babies There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. It is also normal for a breastfed baby older than six weeks to have only one bowel movement every few days. Some healthy babies will have only one bowel movement a week. When bowel movements are less frequent, they should be soft, easy to pass, and more profuse in volume.
