#asktheexpert is it safe to give cerelac or other brands to my 6 mo baby. should i start reducing milk feeding if solid starts

Chitradevi PMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi Mom, Yes you can give homemade cerelac to your six month old baby instead of store bought. you can find how to prepare homemade cerelac in the internet, if possible try to prepare in the home itself.
Also remember that solid food can't replace the nutrients breastmilk or formula provides during the first year. So consider including solids in your baby's diet as a complementary feeding.
