#asktheexpert If Breastfeeding is not enough for baby can we give cow milk and we are giving Nan Pro but we don't want avoid powder. pls suggest

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, you can first breastfeed and give top feed that is formula milk. Please avoid cow milk until baby completes one year as they are heavy to digest and cause infection. Formula milk contains proteins and vitamins and which are good for babies. So you can give formula milk with breast feed. Latch your baby more so that it will help in improving your breast milk quantity. Have a healthy and fibre rich food and take adequate liquid and keep yourself hydrated and take adequate restWrite Your Answer Here
