Q.

#asktheexpert. I was taking tablet thyronorm for hypothyroidism, after delivery my TSH level was normal. Last year i checked my TSH level it was 5.9, my doctor told need to worry. Last month I checked my TSH level its 6.65. Plz suggest shd I take tablet or not.

A. TSH level till 6 to 7 is normal and no need to worry and no medication is being advised for that you just need to maintain a Healthy lifestyle with timely intake of food and do meditation as possible which is very helpful medication is advised only if the level goes more than 8

A. Hi parent It's at the border line so you may observe if you don't have other issues associated with the thyroid. the value is not abnormal but it's bordelie .
