#AskTheExpert I have given my 1 and half month baby multi vitamin and vitamin D for 4 days. His urine started foul smell after 4 days . I stopped giving vitamin supplements since 4 days, still his urine smells. I thought it is Urine infection, but no symptoms of fever and fussing. urine test report is good. What could be the reason for urine smelling bad? please advice

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Hello and good morning, smelling urine can be a sign of a urinary tract infection in babies.
Urine may also have a stronger odor when it is more concentrated, or during dehydration.
Watch for fever..
Continue breast feeding..your baby
Consult your paedritician.
