#AskTheExpert I am using nipple sheild to feed my baby. My baby is now use to tha nipple shield. is this okay to use nipple shield while feeding baby everytime ?

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, although it is okay to use nipple shorledl each time. But you wash the shield after each use and must sterilize it as well. You can use Babyhug brand for shield, and sterilizer.
They are good and economical too.
Because if the shield is not wel sterilized then that can cause infection in the baby.
Also you can try and stop feeding through shield slowly.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and it is better to give our babies breastfeeding directly and also if baby is not comfortable then we can give thru nipple shield. and please sanitize properly.
