#AskTheExpert Hrllo Doctor, my 5 months baby has a small lump under the left hand. some doctor said it bcoz of the BCG and it will go after a month.. im.worried a lot could you please help me in this. thanks in advance.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. it is due to BCG vaccination that was given to the child.after BCG vaccination in next one or two months there will be a lump formation and then it will burst open and then it will become dry and then a scar will be formed

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi yes usually it is caused by bcg vaccine. so as such no need to worry but if your child feel discomfort,pain or has discharge , redness etc then please inform your treating doctor for this.
