just observe what the matter which bother him and then try to manage accordingly
and its not all all possible to control tantrum once they have started that time let it be get out
and next time try to convince him accordingly

See as a parent We can really monitor our kids really very well and we can figure out as to why are they angry what is annoying them so as a mother tried to monitor your child try to assess it yourself as to what is making your child so I listened once you know the right reason it will be very easy for you to manage it
