Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Fever  is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only a temperature above 99F is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
 and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever,but if it continues fkrther you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.
