#AskTheExpert hi sir, our kid is 1 week old. She isn't latching up quiet well. mom is having bit flat nipples. currently on formula feed. how long it may take fr kid to learn latching

Hello sir It’s very difficult for a child to latch onto flat nipples so what you can do it you can express the feed with the help of a breast pump and give it to your child with the help of a bottle apart from that if you like and if it suits you you can consult a lactation specialist only because the doctor will be able to help you and guide you better on this
