#asktheexpert hi sir, my son is in his 12th month and his tooth is not seen yet. what could be reason.

A. Hi kids sometimes show a little delay in getting their first milk teeth. maximum upto the age of 18 months first milk teeth can erupt. so wait for some more time

A. The average age is anywhere from 6 months to 12 months, though some babies will get teeth earlier and some will get them later. Timing isn't that important; however, if your baby still has no teeth by the age of 18 months, it may be time to see a pediatric dentist for an evaluation.
