A. If your baby has a vitamin D deficiency and your pediatrician recommends a supplement, there are various options available. Common forms of vitamin D supplements for infants include: 1. **Vitamin D Drops:** Liquid vitamin D drops are typically recommended for infants. These are easy to administer and are often available in formulations suitable for babies. 2. **D-Vi-Sol:** This is a well-known brand of liquid vitamin D supplement for infants. 3. **Bio-Tech Pharmacal D3 Drops:** These are another option for liquid vitamin D supplements that can be given to babies. 4. **Enfamil D-Vi-Sol:** Enfamil offers a liquid vitamin D supplement for infants as well. Always follow your pediatrician's guidance on the dosage and specific brand or type of vitamin D supplement, as they will take your baby's specific needs and medical history into consideration. It's important to ensure the correct dosage to address the deficiency without providing excessive amounts of vitamin D.
