#AskTheExpert HI sir my baby is 1 year 25 days old . she is coughing while sleeping only . there is no cold or running nose or fever anything .

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Keep head little elevated while sleeping and sometimes choking also lead to coughing so look into that and steam inhalation relieves cough so you can give steam to the vaby

If the cough is dry then apply warm coconut oil infused with tulsi leaves on the chest and feet of the baby before sleeping.
If the cough is wet then you can apply warm mustard oil with pinch of rock salt on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough.
