#AskTheExpert Hi, my son is 6+ months old. I'm giving him Idly mashed and mixed with formula milk in the morning. He is gagging on it and throwing up. In the afternoon and night I feed him rice and dal. As I continued to feed idly he is gagging on rice as well. Please suggest.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. avoid idly, as it's fermanted.. give simple soft food to him.. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi, cerelac
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.
