#asktheexpert Hi My son is 1 and half year old...Can you please help me in planning the diet for him

A. Dear parent, for 1 and half years old baby girl, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. More than 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add nuts like almonds, walnuts to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years. Give 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time.
