#AskTheExpert Hi my baby had fever for 2 days and now fever gone , doctor priscribed sumol syrup for 6 days ,should we continue that if fever stopped?

A. you have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. it can be repeated maximum 4 times per day. armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever weather higher medicines like ibugesic for meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctor. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever important to avoid themd if possible. do body sponge to decrease the body temperature and give plenty of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
