#AskTheExpert hi mam, my baby is 1 month old. she strains before passing urine, poop and gas. straining may last for 10 minutes and for sometimes 1 hour. pls suggest a solution.

Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut . other fggactors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each fejed. Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. Treating your baby's constipation Give your baby a warm bath to relax their bowel. Gently massage your baby's tummy in a clockwise direction. Make firm but gentle circular motions from the belly button outwards. Lie your baby on their back and gently move their legs backwards and forwards in a 'bicycle' motion.
