#AskTheExpert hi I'm tested COVID positive on Tuesday and currently under home isolation. From yesterday my baby is also showing COVID symptoms from yesterday. ( fever 101 and cough). please suggest which medicines tobe given

Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily.
Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion.
Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough.
It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .

Give paracetamol to ur baby for fever. Repeat the dose after five six hours if fever comes again.. If ur baby gets cold and cough then you can give maxtra syrup to ur baby.
Also consult with your doctor for the proper diagnosis and treatment for the same
