Hi dr,

my baby is one yr old and his tongue has turned black..it's like layered black color.

currently we are giving him raricap iron tonic but it's since birth we are giving that to him but since last two weeks his tongue.

I did tried cleaning it with clean wet cloth but it didn't clean properly.

please suggest

yes thats because of iron supplements.  . .stop them if using for prolonged time
Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation
