#AskTheExpert Hi doctor. my baby has blood in her stool. very less quantity like dots but it's there on and off. sometimes it's there sometimes not. ultrasound was done for her and occult blood test also. both are fine. no abnormality. I have completed 5 days antibiotic course also for her. still no improvement. what could be the reason?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. this can be infection ok. preterm babies need special cate always. that u can't compromise ok. you can get to a good local doctortry to always discuss with your primary physician since any medicine just cant be started. plus get a hang of the baby specific needs and require in terms of nutrition and his weight for right treatment.
