#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, my baby 2.5 month old. And she poops once in 7days, and struggles lot. Please suggest any medicine.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
