Q.

#asktheexpert hi doctor, I had a son 1 year 10 months old, he passed away on October 2019 suffering from acute necrotising encephalitis. It was a just a matter of 3 days and everything was over. From day1 of fever I followed up with doctor continuously, doctor thought it was just normal fever and gave medicine. It became serious when siezures started and we admitted him to the hospital and after that he never gained conscious. Doctors say acute necrotising encephalitis is very rare and they don't have medicine. why only my son and why no medicine for this ?. how this would come as we were always hygiene. still it is a question mark to me.
