#AskTheExpert hi doc... my nine month old is having cough and phlegm... how do I comfort her. are there any home based remedies which I can try. she is mostly coughing within 10 min of sleeping... after that she is sleeping soundly...

First pf all keep head little elevated while sleeping and give indirect steam by using a vaporizer close to the baby and apply vicks baby rub on chest back and sole of the feet and keep roasted ajwain potli close to the baby and give, warm liquids like soups
