#AskTheExpert Hello sir, What should be the feeding plan for my child, he is now 6 months old, I believe now a days mom's milk is not sufficient for him. Thanks

A. hi as a child is 6 months old now ,you can start giving semisolid food to your child. but breastmilk should be main source of nutrients so please don't rush to wean your child from breastfeeding. offer plenty of breastfeeds to your child ,the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. initially ,you can offer semisolid food for once in a day. start with liquid diet like dal Pani, rice water in few spoons of quantity. once baby accept it well , you can start feeding other food items like variety of vegetables and fruits puree , porridge, sheera, etc
