#AskTheExpert hello my son is 2 months 9 days old, his birth weight was 2.6 kg, now his weight is 3.8 kg, just want to know that is he growing well and also can we give him cow milk as pedeatrician suggests to avoid formula milk and start cow milk?

A. Dear parent, your baby’s weight gain is normal, do not worry. If you have been breastfeeding, then you should continue to exclusively breastfeed. Else, you should give formula till 6 months. Any other milk should be given only after 6 months.
