#asktheexpert Hello, My kid has gas issue. stomach gets stiff. what to do. she also cries a lot sometimes in a day. kid is 2 1/2 months old

A. baby is only 2 months and is having issue of gas This is natural in small babies they will be having pain in the stomach because of gas please give colicaid drops to the baby e 0.5 ml three times a day regularly it is safe no need to worry

A. for gastric colic you can give collicaid/gastica drops to your baby.proper burping for about 20mins on the shoulder and tummy time after every feed is helpful.cyclic motion of legs also relieves . gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the digestive system. usually in babies of 1 to 3 months of age it is a very common finding to spit the milk after feed due to acid reflux which can be reduced by giving a proper burping after every feed. please see that you are not over feeding the child also .if it is very frequent you can give domstal drops also occasionally bu$#2t only under medical guidance.
